Overdraft options

Choose the coverage that fits your account

Check your available balance before making a transaction whenever possible. Arize offers optional services that may help when an overdraft occurs.

1. Overdraft Protection

Arize automatically offers Overdraft Protection linked to your primary savings account. You may ask to link another eligible deposit account or personal line of credit at Arize for no transfer fee. You may opt out by contacting Arize.

2. Courtesy Pay

Qualified members may receive discretionary Courtesy Pay for a $35 fee per overdraft created by check, ACH or in-person withdrawal. You may opt out. Any amount advanced must be repaid by bringing the account to a positive balance within 30 days.

3. Overdraft Privilege Extended Coverage

Arize will not authorize overdrafts for everyday debit-card and ATM transactions on consumer accounts unless you consent to Extended Coverage. If approved, a $35 fee applies per overdraft. Any amount advanced must be repaid by bringing the account to a positive balance within 30 days.

4. No Coverage

You may remove overdraft coverage. Checks or ACH items that exceed your available balance may be returned and fees may apply. ATM and debit-card transactions that exceed the available balance will be declined. Without Overdraft Protection, available savings will not automatically transfer to cover checking transactions.

Important: Payment of any overdraft is discretionary. Arize may decline payment based on account standing, repayment concerns, coverage limits or the length of time an account remains negative. Review the Fee Schedule for current fees and terms.

Service availability, eligibility, limits, documentation and fees may apply. Contact Arize for current requirements. Overdraft Protection, Courtesy Pay and Overdraft Privilege Extended Coverage are optional and may be changed by contacting Arize or, where available, through Online Banking.
